The Sky is a Gap
Google's first Artist in Residence, Rachel Rossin, pushes the VR’s visual and sensory possibilities with her newest art installation. Viewers put on a custom headset that allows them to move through a 360-degree digitally drawn landscape. As you move toward certain visual triggers, other spaces open up and expand, which allows every viewer to create their own distinctive experience. Multiple users can sense each other's presence and appear to each other as ghosts on the landscape — adding to the project’s other-worldly qualities.
