Watch Bill Murray and Obama Putt in the Oval Office

Obama and Bill Murray got some practice putts in together in the Oval Office, taking turns shooting for an overturned glass on the floor — none of those plastic Astroturf mats for these guys.

"Generally I don't let Cubs fans into the Oval Office," Obama explains in a new video posted to Twitter this morning.

Unfortunately approval ratings must not be good for the short game. Obama can't make a putt as Bill Murray puts them away like he's channeling Chevy Chase in Caddyshack.

The whole video is of course one big setup for an Affordable Care Act plug. Murray fakes some leg pain stooping to pick up a ball (or maybe it's real, who knows these days) and that prompts Obama to ask him why he hasn't seen a doctor about it.

Murray's not exactly hurting for wealth so we're sure he has no problem finding a doctor, but given the current discussion about health insurance, it sounds like now is the time to get signed up for coverage before the marketplace undergoes renovation under the next administration.

Anyway, back to the important part. Murray and Obama both get a fair amount of coverage for their amateur golf game, so it's anyone's guess who the best player actually is. But at least in this particular path-crossing, Murray's short game wins out.

Murray beats Obama soundly, and wanders off to the President's desk saying, "Where does Michelle keep your money?"

"Stay out of those drawers," Obama warns him between Healthcare.gov plugs, "and don't touch any of those buttons."
