Low Sugar Café Mocha
As the cold weather sets in, cozy up to a warm cup of Joe. This vegan version is made with almond milk, though you can substitute low fat milk for more protein.

1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (stevia, honey, or maple syrup)
- Steam the almond milk or if you don’t have a steamer, heat it in a pot and whisk to froth.
- Brew the coffee and pour into 2 mugs. Top with almond milk.
- Add the remaining ingredients, stir and enjoy!
