9. Peanut butter
Go old school and add peanut butter to some celery sticks for a muscle-building snack. “Two tablespoons of peanut butter contains 8g of protein,” says Palmer. “And not only is it great for building muscle, it’s also heart healthy.” Peanut butter is rich in polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, “good” fats that have been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease.
