Why It’s a Standout: Fuglen has been around since the 1960s, but its current incarnation as a hip coffee shop during the day and a bar at night was only unveiled in 2008, when it became an instant favorite among locals who love the 50s and 60s Scandinavian interiors. Its cocktail program (introduced in 2010) is a seasonal collection of drinks with foraged herbs, flowers, berries, and roots, such as pineapple weed, a flower that tastes like a mix of pineapple and chamomile. You can find it in any park in Norway.
