2 oz high-proof bourbon, like Old Forester Signature
3⁄4 oz Amaro Sibilia
1⁄4 oz Luxardo Maraschino

Stir over ice and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

2. Gabrielle

This is the most popular cocktail at Rocket Surgery, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

11⁄2 oz Plymouth gin 1⁄4 oz St-Germain
1⁄4 oz Suze
3⁄4 oz lemon juice
3⁄4 oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)
3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Shake over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

1 oz mezcal
1 oz Campari
1 oz Bonal

Stir in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a coupe, twist an orange peel over the cocktail, and discard the peel.
