Smoke on the Water
Executive Chef Kevin Spencer, also of SER Steak + Spirits in Dallas, worked with his cocktail team to create this drink that offers "heat" from the smoke, and sweetness from the watermelon, to mimic the flavors of summer. "The rich smoke and subtle bite of the barrel-aged tequila are a flavorful contrast to the unmistakable flavor of fresh watermelon, which is fun for the senses," says Spencer.
- 1 3/4 oz Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
- 1 1/4 oz watermelon juice
- 3/4 oz watermelon simple syrup
1. Combine all ingredients over ice and serve.
