Lambay Small Batch Blend and Single MaltGet It
Two surprising whiskeys come from a relatively new player on the Irish whiskey scene. Lambay’s signature at the moment is cognac casks: its small batch is finished in barrels that once held Camus, and the single malt is aged entirely in them. Single malt is citrusy and bright with hints of pineapple, while the Small Batch Blend is slightly dry with notes of almond paste and vanilla. They’re both excellently drinkable.
