These protein-packed shrimp skewers may be bite-sized, but they’re packed with big, bold flavor.

Marinated in garlic, citrus juices, and spices before getting tossed on the grill, these easy-to-handle “lollipops” are perfect for your next tailgate or dinner party.

  • For the shrimp:
  • 1 lb shrimp, cleaned, rinsed, and deveined
  • 2 limes, quartered
  • For the marinade:
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ¾ tsp garlic, minced
  • ¾ tsp ginger, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. In a medium sized bowl, mix marinade ingredients.

Toss shrimp in marinade and refrigerate until grill reaches 350°F-425°F.

Thread 2 shrimps each on soaked bamboo skewers. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.

Serve on a bed of greens with lime slices or enjoy alone as an appetizer.
