Sometimes the everyday moments in life can be the real special occasions. To kick off the spring, Grey Goose is launching a new campaign that’s spotlighting how people can “Live Victoriously” through celebrating the small, everyday moments in life and making yourself the special occasion.
The campaign showcases how an everyday moment, whether it’s a Happy Hour, a quick drink with a friend, or an impromptu gathering can be a special occasion and a lifelong memory for you to make. To kick things off, Grey Goose brought some top comedians and entertainers to surprise crowds at happy hour in locations around the world, including comedian Colin Jost, actor Jamie Foxx, comedian Jack Whitehall, and comedian Aidy Bryant.
The guests at the events had the chance to try a range of Grey Goose cocktails during the night out, including Grey Goose’s new vodka sodas served in custom Grey Goose vessels in peach, watermelon, and papaya flavors, as well as the classic Grey Goose Martini—many of which were made by the guest bartenders themselves.
Jost dropped in on a happy hour at Underdog in the Financial District of New York City, while Jamie Foxx jumped in at the Times Square EDITION hotel bar. Bryant hopped across the water to Brooklyn to take over the Brooklyn hotspot Extra Fancy, while Whitehall was at the Wigmore pub in central London.
At Jost’s takeover, he hopped behind the bar and was mixing numerous drinks for patrons who happened to be at the happy hour, dishing out jokes and zingers as he went along. Soon after that, Jost took the mic and did a great comedy stand-up set behind the bar, joking about a range of things from the ending of Avengers to skits he didn’t get approved on SNL. Jost also joked around when asked about the ending of Game of Thrones and telling the audience to make the hashtag #LetJostWriteforThrones go viral.
Jost also stick around after his bartending set was over to chat and take photos with fans and to indulge in the fun, basically it was the idea of “Live Victoriously” happening in real time. The whole point of the night was that even on a Tuesday for Happy Hour, treat yourself like the special occasion.
