Grilled Asparagus With Lemongrass Garlic Rub

Solve that problem by bringing this easy, grilled asparagus along with you—not only will you save your six-pack, you’ll look like the most thoughtful guest at the party.

  • 1½ lb or 24 medium asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lemongrass, chopped (alternatively, you can rehydrate the freeze-dried version)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

In a small bowl, combine olive oil and spices.

Toss asparagus in sealed, zippered bag with spice mixture.

Place on an oiled grill rack; cook 6 minutes or until tender, turning once.
