Marry it to your sauce.
Spooning sauce onto pasta is fine, but for that restaurant effect where the sauce seems to be sticking to the noodles, there’s a better trick. Remember: Pasta absorbs flavor. So cooking your drained pasta in the hot sauce for about 30 seconds will get that sauce to adhere. Add a bit of pasta water for some extra starch (think of it as sauce glue) and moisture.
