This killer cocktail doesn’t just pack a punch in terms of flavor.
Thanks to wasabi powder, it also provides a serious health boost. Wasabi is known to reduce blood pressure, improve bone strength and liver function, and kill cancer cells.
It also goes perfectly with a serving of pork and scallop dumplings.

Makes 1 servings
- 1 bar spoon wasabi powder
- 2 oz water
- 2 oz sake
- Juice of 1/2 lime, plus lime hull
- 1/2 oz wasabi water
- 3 thyme sprigs
How to make it
Mix together wasabi powder and water, stirring well to dissolve.
Add sake, lime juice and hull, wasabi water, and 2 thyme sprigs to shaker half-filled with ice, and shake well.
Strain into a Collins glass over ice and garnish with remaining thyme sprig.
