Chili Spiced Chickpeas
Hummus isn’t the only way to enjoy chickpeas! Pop open a can of chickpeas, flavor with spices and a touch of olive oil, and bake in the oven. Chickpeas are brimming with protein, fiber, iron, and numerous energy-boosting B-vitamins—a delicious way to take in important nutrients.

1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon adobe sauce
1 teaspoon smoked chili flakes
1 garlic clove, minced
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl, place drained chickpeas and toss with olive oil, adobe, chili, and garlic until evenly coated.
3. On a parchment lined baking sheet, spread the chickpeas in an even layer and bake until crisp, about 15 minutes, stir, then bake for another 20 minutes.
