This shake is designed to target everything the body needs post-workout. “Cherries are loaded with inflammation-fighting antioxidants, and research indicates that tart cherry juice may help reduce post exercise muscle soreness,” says Dana Angelo White, M.S., R.D., A.T.C., a sports dietitian and nutrition partner with Bob’s Red Mill. “This smoothie also contains the ideal ratio of carbs to protein for muscle recovery using plant-based pea protein with no added sugar and a boost of natural fiber,” adds White.
