They say your swing gets better after a few fingers of the good stuff.

Texas whiskey makers Firestone & Robertson will open their new distillery on November 10 in Fort Worth, and the land will feature a functioning 18-hole golf course. Owners Leonard Firestone and Troy Robertson detailed the massive new attraction to Robb Report, saying they want to take their artisanal operation and “build Texas into a global brand.”

Whiskey Ranch is a 112-acre plot that houses the aforementioned golf course as well as a huge “open-timbered” visitors center. The new distillery digs will enable the company to produce 40 barrels a day, where its original (and still functioning) location can produce three a day. The first Fort Worth distillery will continue to pump out small-batch and experimental whiskey, with the Ranch focusing on their TX Blended Whiskey and the Straight TX Bourbon.

The new links were formerly home to the Glen Garden Country Club. Firestone and Robertson told Robb it had just what they were seeking in a new home, “limestone aquifers to supply the water for their whiskey, and scenic grounds that include a lake, views of Fort Worth, and a golf course.”
