Hirter Herbal Radler
Brewery: Brauerei Hirt
Few beers sneak beneath a lower alcohol limbo bar than Germany’s Hirter Herbal Radler, at 2.5 percent ABV. With booze that low, some radlers taste like fruit juice with a faint alcohol kick. That’s hardly the case with the unfiltered and unpasteurized Hirter, a marriage of medal-winning Privat Pils and lemonade infused with 20 Alpine herbs, including, elderberry, sage, and gentian. The result is a fruity, beguiling pick-me-up.
