Out’cider, Experimental Cocktail Club (New York, NY)
The Experimental Cocktail Club is home to two interesting, very different punches. The first is the Out’cider, a calvados driven punch. Calvados is an apple brandy from Normandy, France. ECC’s Out’cider uses Christian Drouin Selection Calvados, honey syrup, lemon juice, and, to keep it French, a champagne topper. All ingredients are shaken together except the champagne, which is added at the very end. Serve in a champagne glass.
- 8 oz Christian Drouin Selection Calvados
- 3 oz honey syrup
- 3 oz lemon juice
- 1 bottle Champagne
