Washington: Field 41 American Pale Ale
Brewer: Bale Breaker Brewing
Style: American Pale Ale
Bale Breaker sits in the middle of Washington’s hop country, literally surrounded by towering hills of the aromatic green flowers. It’s such an idyllic spot to open a hop-focused brewery, it’s shocking almost nobody else has followed suit. Bale Breaker’s pale ale, easily considered a session IPA, provides big flavor with balanced bitterness. “It’s a crushable hoppy pale, that’s bright and refreshing,” says Morgan Herzog, owner of Seattle’s Beer Junction taproom and bottle shop.
