Tacolicious, San Francisco
Tacolicious started out as a farmer’s market stand, but has since expanded to two sit-down restaurants (the latest is in the Mission). Like any Bay Area establishment, their food can tend toward the pricy, but it’s worth it — all their tacos are mouth-wateringly delicious, from the butternut squash or nopales and cheese, to the mole chicken or guajillo-braised short-rib taco for meat lovers. If you want the best deal, bring a friend and try the 10 for $36 — it’ll get you through their entire menu.
