6. Glen Elgin 18
Glen Elgin ends up as a very fruit-forward whisky: banana and apple notes are fairly distinct on the nose, but we get a hit of salted caramel that’s really appealing. On the palate it begins to show some hidden depth with clove and cinnamon, and the finish is heathery and sweet. Not terribly complex but a really nice easy drinking single malt..
