This is the only bologna sandwich on this list, but hear us out: this is original mortadella bologna, not the American stuff you get without any lard in it, so it’s got a flavor that tastes anything but typical. Only served on Mondays, this panini is pressed with cheese, expertly chosen by the staff of the Cheese Iron, and fig jam, and the balance of sweetness, fat, and meat is just right. It’s enough to make us recommend a bologna sandwich in the company of filet mignon and brie, that’s for sure.
