Martell Cordon Bleu
Cordon Bleu isn’t the most expensive in the Martell stable, but the signature blend created in 1912 is an elegant multi-region balance with a lot of pear and vanilla notes with the kind of rich, subtle spice you expect from a rye whiskey. A limited edition bottle is also available for the 300th anniversary—the key difference is that the limited edition is aged in barrels created from 300-year-old oak tree for a “single barrel” kind of gimmick. Both are, frankly, delicious. [$140; martell.com]
