Amazon is hooking up its Prime Rewards card members for simply going to the grocery store.
The only catch: It’s gotta be a Whole Foods. The company announced it will be giving back 5% from all Whole Foods purchases when you use the Prime Rewards card there. And Amazon users with the non-Prime version of the Rewards card will get 3% back on Whole Foods grocery purchases. This new perk comes right after Amazon announced it had added the grocery chain to its Prime Now delivery service.
Those with Prime Rewards cards and non-Prime Rewards cards alike will still get the benefit of 2% back at gas stations, restaurants, and pharmacies. Amazon and Whole Foods have also been busy opening up new locations of the grocer’s less expensive Whole Foods 365 stores, where the selection is curated to be less expensive than the chain’s main line locations.
