No list of the best beer festivals would be complete without Savor, one of the most renowned events for sipping suds. Held in a beautiful hall with beer-and-food pairings, Savor stands apart from the casual sea of tented booths. For one evening, the event takes over the National Building Museum and treats craft beer more like wine—encouraging people to, well, savor, and really think about specific aroma and flavor notes. Over 90 breweries participate, and attendees can find matchups like BrewDog’s Jet Black Heart stout with a braised beef bourguignon pie, Five Boroughs Brewing Company’s pilsner with a hamachi crudo, or Sugar Creek Brewing Company’s Dark Reflection abbey ale with coffee crème brûlée. The event features the chance to rub elbows with some of the biggest names in both beer and food.
Tickets are $135 and $175 for VIP; available here around February for 2020
