The Hot Dog That’s Also a Sub Sandwich

Calling your hot dog creation "The Land of the Free and the Dog of the Brave" means you really have to load up the frankfurter with a combination of ingredients that you wouldn't get on a regular ballpark dog. And if anybody knows how to get the most out of ingredients between two pieces of bread (or in this case, nestled between a bun), it's Tyler Kord, chef-owner of No. 7 Sub.

Here, as part of Food Republic's Baseball hot Dog Challenge, Kord tops off his creation with pickled sprouts, a bacon and pickle slaw, french crunchy onions, tomatoes, and chips (since his signature is to put "chips on shit") for the type of hot dog that will totally bite back.
