Don’t Worry About 3D
If you’re like most TV-buying human beings, you have little to no interest in dealing with the glasses, the limited viewing angles, and the hassle of getting high-quality 3D content – cable and streaming are terrible for 3D, so the limited (and expensive) list of 3D Blu-ray titles are your only option at the moment. But don’t worry about 3D either. It’s an optional mode that you turn on, rather than one you have to turn off, and it’s become relatively standard on new flat-panels. What used to be cause for a premium up-charge is now a free and nearly universal capability, and no longer worth trying to avoid.
