The 10th Day of Kicksmas: Saucony Peregrine 7
Not unlike the 1400, I’ve been loyal to the Peregrine line over the years. My favorite, the Saucony Peregrine 7, has an extremely toothy sole and deep lugs that can bite into any loose condition. That’s great for me, because I like running up and down mountains. It proved the perfect shoe for a three-day camping-and-trail-running trip I did in June, in Beacon, NY, with about 30 other New York City runners. The sole is fairly thin but protective enough to hack the extremely rocky scramble to the summit of Mt. Beacon, and the tread kept me on my feet as we sprinted back down the harrowing terrain.
