Yamaha unleashed a revamped WR250F enduro model and an all-new variant called the YZ250FX, aimed more at desert and hare scrambles. Both off-roaders have the rearward canted cylinder of the YZ250F motocross machine, helping to centralize mass for better handling. On both bikes, electric starting makes it easy to get going. The WR model has a headlight, taillight, engine skid plate, radiator fan, and enduro computer. The FX does without all that, and it costs $100 less than the WR’s MSRP of $7,990.
