The small-displacement sport bike segment is getting crowded — a good thing — and this 321cc Yamaha jumps into the mix for 2015. The all-new twin-cylinder sport bike packs an extra 25cc of engine displacement over its nearest competitor, the Kawasaki Ninja 300. While the R3’s MSRP is only $4,990, that six-speed engine still gets the usual performance features: fuel-injection, four valves per cylinder, double-overhead cams, and liquid cooling. Yamaha is claiming a wet weight of 368 pounds, which should make this high-revving screamer easy to flick around.
