The new Subaru Impreza, which debuted here in New York, marks a pronounced emphasis on agility with a claimed 50-percent reduction in body roll. The 2.0-liter flat-four now boasts direct injection, upping horsepower to 152. Like the current Impreza, this model will feature Premium, Sport, and Limited trims — Sport offering 18-inch wheels, LED lights, red interior stitching, a unique suspension tune, and active torque vectoring. As before, buyers can opt for the Eyesight system, a suite of active and passive safety features including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-departure and lane-keep assists. A standard backup camera also includes reverse automatic braking.
