1. Fitness app to personalize goals
Unlike many wearables, Vi doesn’t just track your data and spew out numbers. The artificial intelligence gets to “know” you and your goals first through the app. You’ll select your goal from a programmed list including (but not limited to) “lose weight,” “run faster,” and “run farther.” When you run with Vi and the complementary app, both work in tandem to learn your level of fitness and idiosyncrasies, then craft a custom-made training plan.
One note: You’ll need to tote your smartphone while you run so the app can track your biometrics, store data like elevation and location, and play music mid-run. You’ll get real-time coaching during workouts and valuable metrics after sessions so you can get the best results. If, for example, you’re trying to lose weight or train to hit a PR in a half marathon, Vi can guide you through targeted heart rate workouts. She’ll let you know when you’re falling off-pace or on-target to hit the required time and intensity.
