YakTrax RunGet It
Your average pair of road shoes is no match for ice and snow, and you’ll need extra traction to stay upright. The YakTrax Run are a great pick for powering through the slick stuff. The carbide steel spikes under the forefoot bite into hard packed snow and ice, and the steel coils under the heel provide excellent traction on downhill slopes. Compared to other options we tested, these also felt relatively lightweight and the Velcro strap across the top of the foot creates a snug fit.
