2011 Audio R8 Spyder

Audi’s top-of-the-line supercar is packed with muscle and drives as smoothly as any of the brand’s renowned luxury cars. Housed in its rear, the Spyder’s 5.2-liter, V-10 engine oozes performance: It’s quick off the line (0-60 in less than four seconds), fast at the top end (194.5 mph top speed), and fiercely powerful (525 hp).

2011 Ford Mustang GT

The 5.0-liter, V-8 has long been a Mustang fan favorite, and the latest version is Ford’s best GT yet. Though it has 412 hp, it maintains a surprising 25 mpg on the highway thanks to the newly designed lightweight V-8 power plant.

2011 Mercedes-Benz E550 Cabriolet

The new E-Cab has a 382-hp, 7-speed automatic V-8 engine, plus an AirCap soft top that reduces turbulence and noise from wind, making this convertible comfortable all year round. The top disappears in less than 20 seconds—even while driving up to 25 mph!

2011 Mazda MX-5 Miata

This roadster, contrary to what some believe, is not a “chick car.” It’s built to race. The MX-5 also sports a 167-hp engine and a perfectly balanced frame that makes for super-responsive handling.
