The Man With the Golden Gun: AMC Hornet
In what is without a doubt the most jaw-dropping 007 chase not to involve an Aston Martin or any luxury European marque, Roger Moore as Bond went American with the classic AMC Hornet. The two-door hatchback stunt car was significantly modified to allow for the pivotal scene, whereby the Hornet launches into a 360-degree mid-air twisting corkscrew jump across a broken bridge as it chased Scaramanga — the villain who, coincidentally, drove an AMC Matador Coupe. The Guinness World Records 2010 book deemed the jump the first astro spiral used in a film.
