Lemond Washoe: 2014 Gift Guide for Cyclists

America’s three-time Tour de France champion Greg Lemond returned to the bike industry earlier this year with an initial line of carbon bikes, but it’s the just-released Washoe that has us drooling. The frame uses high-end Reynolds 853 steel tubes in a nod to Lemond’s first branded bicycles in the ’80s, but its surrounded by modern bike technology like an oversized bottom bracket and ENVE carbon fork. The frame and fork are available for $1,800, but we recommend the $2,600 build with the reliable Shimano 105 drivetrain. You can also spring for the electronic-shifting Dura-Ace Di2 kit for $5,600.
