When you think of Lululemon, you probably think one of two things: A pair of wildly flattering yoga pants you have witnessed on the female form or the pair of unthinkably comfortable seamless shorts you wear religiously to all events where shorts are deemed appropriate. But the athletic apparel company is giving itself a new way to be recognized — by being the first yoga-focused brand to release a men’s outerwear collection.

For Josh Hiney, Design Director of Advanced Concepts at Lululemon, the new collection of coats, parkas, and vests fuses the need for winter gear that can handle the elements of both your sweat sessions in the gym and the wintery weather outside. “Sweating outdoors is part of our customers' lives, and to truly get out there, they need outerwear designed for a body, that breathes,” he says. “Our goal was to create outerwear that maximizes comfort and minimizes distraction in challenging outdoor conditions, so our guests can embrace the elements.”

The collection includes pieces that are winter necessities, but with features you didn't know you needed until now. Even beyond a neck gaiter to nix the need of a scarf, internal pockets to keep your phone dry, and magnetic pockets that allow for easy-access when you’re wearing gloves, the features only get more inventive.

The Einn Shell ($398) is constructed from a single piece of waterproof shell—the jacket is the seamless, winter-ready cousin to those shorts of yours. The Stay Puff parka ($498) can be folded into a pillow for reducing bulk on travel days. Additionally, the third feature piece from the collection — the Surge Thermo Vest ($198) — integrates body-mapping insulation so you get the warmth where you need it (in your core) and not where you don’t (aka, in your armpits).

The entire range is insulated, waterproof, and windproof — so now you don’t have an excuse to make it to the gym when the weather gets frightful. All pieces are available online and in stores.
