If you haven’t yet tried Rhone Commuter Pants, why not? Since their debut a few years back we’ve call the Commuters “our favorite pants for travel” and the “best pants for commuting by bicycle.” But aside from our unabashed love for the Rhone pants and workout gear, the brand has firmly established itself as a force to be reckoned with in men’s activewear.
Now the company is seeking to expand its foothold into brick-and-mortar retail. Rhone’s first store is opening this summer in Manhattan’s high-tech Hudson Yards development.
The brand’s reputation for quality, well-fitting, high-performing athletic wear is secure. Now, with these new storefronts and placement in renowned department stores like Nordstrom, Rhone is ready to take its place as one of the standard-bearers in athleisure.
But before all that happens, the company has bolstered its core lineup with a few new offerings. The Commuter pant has been joined by a Slim version. It’s just as comfortable but a little more snug, to cut a contemporary silhouette. Also new to the Rhone lineup are new Commuter Shorts and Polo shirts. They’re made of the same Japanese stretch material as the Commuter pants.
New Color Announced
Now, Rhone has announced an all-new colorway for its Commuter pants. Gibraltar Sea is the eighth color in the line. Darker than turquoise and more earthy than navy blue, it’s a vibrant shade that accentuates the active fit of the Commuters while elevating their professional countenance. Ideal for the office as well as the golf course or a lawn party, they’d also stand up if you decided to mix in a quick jog or bike ride with your routine. This color is hot; we recommend jumping on it now before everyone else does.
Gibraltar Sea is available now—but so far it’s only for the Commuter pants. We expect it to get the full Commuter treatment soon.
