While there are plenty of “athleisure” brands these days, none is quite so profoundly impressive as Rhone. From the classic Commuter Pants to their awesome Reign long-sleeve, Rhone gear is quality active gear designed for today’s man on the move. And their new Commuter Short and Polo are bound to be our new summer staple.

Made of a brand-new, luxe performance fabric from Italy, the athletic fit of the new Commuter Polo complements your shape without being clingy. Smart details like rubberized buttons and laser perforated venting make sure it not just looks great but performs like quality athleisure-wear should.

Available in a blue microcheck or a sleek blue jacquard (shown), it’s ideal for the golf course or the beach party—and for the airplane that delivers you to those sunny climes. Even better, thanks to its good looks —and its anti-stink, anti-wrinkle construction—you can go straight from the airport to Grandma’s house without changing.

Here’s the thing: Guys are, by nature, rather lazy when it comes to our fashion. So we tend to beat to style trends to death, pushing those envelopes until they (sometimes literally) bust out. Summer gear is particularly tricky because while it’s less expensive and therefore far less of a commitment than other seasonal clothing (smaller, simpler, weighs less = makes sense), we still resist trying out new styles and fashions. It’s crazy, we know. But we do it anyway.

But summer style does indeed change, friends. So if you’re still wearing those old knee-length board shorts or last year’s tiny-print button-down, it’s time to trade up.

The Rhone Commuter Short is a fine option. There are no patterns to get dated here; no bold colors to fade. They’re just well-made short pants in khaki, navy, or grey, as perfect for the boardwalk as they are the golf course or the track. They look great if you’re going sock-less, and even double as a fine gym short, thanks to their no-stink, anti-wrinkle fabric.

It’s almost as if Rhone sent a tailor out to the house to shear off our favorite Commuter pants—these shorts are that comfortable.
