Today only, the groundbreaking urban apparel manufacturer Rhone is offering free expedited (2-3 day) shipping on all purchases over $50. With some of the best commuter and workout gear on the market, there’s not a soul among us who wouldn’t love to discover something, anything, from the Rhone label under our tree. And with Christmas just seven days away, well, you can do the math. It’s an offer you shouldn’t refuse.
A couple years back we called Rhone’s Commuter Pant (above right, $128) “our favorite work pants for commuters and travelers.” We also once tabbed them among our “Best Commuter Pants for Cyclists.” If anyone’s bested them yet, we sure haven’t heard about it. Stretchy and soft, but tough and durable, they boast what Rhone calls an “athlete’s fit.” Structured without being snug through the waist, thigh, and legs, they look awesome from door to door—both on the bike with a T and at the office with a polo or tucked-in sport shirt.
The City Pant (left, $118) cuts a slimmer profile. Cut from a breathable technical fabric, they offer more of a tailored structure through the legs and hips, with an narrow leg opening and reflective patches for visibility. The Japanese stretch fabric and the forgiving crotch gusset keep them comfortable and elastic, to hold their shape for hours no matter where the day takes you.
The most laid-back of the line, Rhone’s Street Jogger (center, $128) was designed to be sturdy in the wind and rain but sleek enough to slide into a restaurant or other social setting. Water-resistant, they’re designed to be casual street pants but would probably be right at home in the gym or on the bike.
Rhone pants come in a variety of colors. And as always with Rhone, hemming service is offered, free. But this bears a mention: With the holiday shopping season nearly a wrap, we noticed the pickings are getting slim across the entire Rhone pants line on the more common waist sizes. Good luck.
