5. Best for Sport Riding: Yamaha YZF R3Get It
Equipped with a 321cc inline twin that uses some of the tech from Yamaha’s faster bikes, the R3 produces more than 20 lb-ft of torque and over 40 horsepower. The pointy front fairing borrows styling from its supersport brethren, but it’s combined with comfortable ergonomics and a low standover height. Notching 56 mpg, the R3 pulls double duty as a worthy commuter that also loves diving into twisty turns. Our only regret is not testing it on the track.
