Under Armour ColdGear Reactor Hooded Jacket
The re-think with this mid-layer jacket is as much a construction story as it is around the material itself. Reactor’s V-Lap baffles are said to better vent than horizontal, segmented insulation. The open baffle design allows more migration between warmer and colder portions of the body. The lining is also made with a wicking material that transits sweat through the hydrophilic insulation. (UA says this doesn’t compromise warmth, but more quickly vents moisture, so you don’t get clammy.) [$225; underarmour.com]
