Ski gear stole the show at this year’s Outdoor Retailer and Snow Show last week, which was held in Denver for the first time. Big advances in boots, skis, and bindings make single quiver setups lighter, more versatile, and more fun than ever before.
Meanwhile, technical clothing also got a style upgrade so that you’ll want to wear it all the time, not just when you’re summit-bound. And the expanded trade show space gave way for manufacturers to sell experiences as well as gear, like the new Ikon ski pass. Below, just a few of the highlights of gear expected this year that we saw in the more than 15 miles of walking the trade show halls over three days. Most of the items will be available this fall, but you’ll find an electric motorbike that’s delivering now on the list, too.
