Aston Martin Vulcan
This 800-plus-horsepower V12 track monster is the most extreme Aston in company history. So extreme that it cannot be registered for road use. Described as the “dark heart” of Aston Martin, this front mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive behemoth is entirely hand-built of carbon fiber first and foremost for track racing. Under the hood is a 7.0-litre V12 engine paired to a six-speed sequential shift gearbox. Aesthetically, the LED lights were designed to look like they’re moving through space. The lamps are all hidden as they sit in the shadow of the shark-like face. Despite its mind-numbing $2.8 million price tag, each of the 24 editions that will be built are said to be already spoken for. Why 24? Aston races in 24-hour races, and the latest Bond film, Spectre, happens to be the 24th Bond film.
