Lechal Insole and Shoe
This activity tracker is integrated into an insole or a pair of shoes by Lechal that can give users haptic feedback — making the insole vibrate. The company touts its ability to give turn-by-turn directions so you never have to look at your phone; if you’re supposed to turn right, the right shoe buzzes. It also tracks your daily steps — as long as you’re wearing the shoes with the sensor. It’s a neat concept, but likely too specific to be widely adopted and we’ll be surprised if it really takes off.
