The Geneva Auto Show is arguably the most important motor show in Europe. It is also the one that showcases the continent’s most advanced propulsion, material, and infotainment technology from its most iconic marques, engineers, and designers. This year’s show was a banner one, collating a hall full of sport and exotic vehicles that underscored major shifts in the industry in terms of what’s under the sheet metal, what’s under the hood, and, increasingly, what’s under the driver’s (or robot automaton’s) eyes and fingers — trends that will take us through to the end of the decade, and beyond.
