Best Road Bike
More than 30 years of experience go into every frame David Kirk welds in his Bozeman, Montana, workshop. His “Onesto” (Italian for “honest”) is built using Reynolds 953 tubing, the lightest and strongest stainless steel tubeset on the market today. These tubes allowed Kirk to build a bike that weighs little, rides wonderfully, and will last a lifetime. Stainless steel tubing also means the bike doesn’t need to be painted, which saves some weight but leaves no margin for error when welding. This Onesto also features Kirk’s patented Terraplane seat stays, which are customized for the weight of the rider and the size of the frame. The curved stays absorb small bumps better than traditional straight ones, keeping the rear wheel in close contact with the ground and allowing the rider to corner with more confidence.
