Campy Award
This No. 22 Reactor is a result of a collaboration between the Johnstown, New York, framebuilder and Velocolour, a Toronto-based paint studio. It’s a race-oriented build that weighs less than 15 pounds but still highlights the amazing ride quality that titanium is known for. The Reactor incorporates No. 22’s carbon seat mast, a continuous tube running from the bottom bracket to the saddle, as well as a large downtube and enormous chainstays for extra stiffness. The carbon seat mast, together with the Reactor’s downsized seatstays, adds a substantial amount of comfort in the saddle. It acts like a spring, taking the edge off bumps and dampening vibration as it travels up through the frame to the saddle. The craftsmanship is impeccable, making this Super Record-equipped bike an easy choice for the show’s Campagnolo Award.
