Suzuki V-Strom 650XT
The middleweight V-Strom is an ideal fit for experienced riders who also want a street-oriented bike that offers more for the money. Suzuki’s XT version of this 645cc machine adds a bit more off-road capability with stout spoke wheels designed to handle tubeless tires, which means that flats are much simpler to plug on the fly out on the trails. Real value comes in the form of the sweet V-twin engine, double-overhead-cammed and fuel-injected, mounted in a lightweight aluminum twin-spar frame that’s rare in the ADV realm. Adjustable traction control and anti-lock brakes round out a great all-round middleweight motorcycle that costs under $10 grand.
