As a performance helmet, it’s built to ingest and exhaust a lot of air to help keep the rider cool on hot days. The profile is designed for high-speed stability to minimize buffeting and lift. Nice items on the Star include the 3Mode shield with Clickrelease that make shield swaps fast and easy. A strap keeper dispenses with those hard-to-find buttons and uses a small magnet to keep the end of the helmet strap from flapping around. And, after a good racetrack workout, the Star’s interior soft liners are removable and washable.
